State Of Mind

That morning when I woke up for jogging, felt so tired.
Decided to skip my morning excercised for that day coz of sleeplessness
and tiredned of previous night. But after a small struggle with my mind,
I went for walk. And on the way up, I met my friend.
We had interesting chat and had fun. Then he started joging and invited me
to join with him. Before thinking about my tiredness, I've started jogging with him, and it continued for 3-4 Kms.

When I came back to my room, I couldnt believe that I jogged that day more
than I used to do. How could I do that despite my tiredness.
I realized; My tiredness was only a creation of my mind.
When I woke up that morning I had set up my mind unknowingly,
to a lazy state, and believed that I'm weak for that moment.
But when I got a spark of cheerfulness from ma friend, I become energetic.

My thought here that; most of the time our laziness, tiredness weakness...
are states of mind.
When I think I'm weak, then I'M WEAK. But when we realize it and put an effort
to change the state of mind, we will get refreshed and all issues may get fade out.

So if you find it interesting, letz try to practise this refreshing thought.
We'll start with experiment with simple examples in our daily life.
Next time when you feel sleep after lunch at office or feel tired by around 2-3 PM, realize that it is only state of your mind.
Overcome that with an opposition thought.
Do a different thing you'd like to do.
Stretch your hands and go for a walk, enjoy the beautiful things from your window, and continue your work.

Through constant practice I believe we could make a big difference in our life.
Give a new dimension to our daily routine.
Even small things may make a big difference.
And we need not be Yogis or Sages to do these small practices.

Right from our childhood, we are imposed with certain beliefs, or we have set certain
barriers and limits for our actual potential. And even grown up, still we believe that we
could come out only up to that limit, we're not ready to try beyond that limit.

Here is a story, you might have heard about:

Do you know how the trainer in the zoo train the elephant.

What they do is since the elephant is baby; they will tie one of their legs using the iron chain.
So whenever the baby elephant want to move, their movement will be restricted by the iron chain.
The baby elephant did tried to break free the chain, however since they are still so young,
the chain seems too strong for the baby elephant.
The baby elephant tried and tried but yet they still can’t overcome it.

Along with time as the elephant grow, the trainer replaces the iron chain with just a normal rope. You may wonder why???
Even with iron chain, the fully grown elephant can easily break it free and
now they replace that with just a normal rope? The answer is simple;
there is bigger chain that has locked the elephant!
That is THEIR OWN MIND. Whenever the elephant feel the presence of rope around their leg, they will stop moving just as when the iron chain locked
their leg when they were baby.
